Movie: Lucky Number Slevin

*****************************************************************************************

This is the best movie I've seen in a long time. Paul rented it a couple of weekends ago. I don't like R movies very much, especially ones noted "for strong violence", but hubby watched it once without me so we were able to skip all the violence (mainly at the beginning.) I like the witty dialogue between Lucy Liu and Josh Harnett. Very well crafted and intricate story-line, which reminded me of the movie Ocean Eleven, where the "bad" guys also get your sympathy.

I really liked Lucy Liu in this movie! She's one of the few Asian-American actresses that have made it to leading lady status and not just playing ethnic roles.

I've joined the blogging world!!

Hello! I have been hearing a lot about blogging lately. I have also been visiting various blogs of friends and strangers. Finally, I take the plunge! I've been an avid journal-er since my pre-teen years, but for some reason I have not wrote a word for almost four years now. A half-finished journal still lies in my nightstand drawer. Perhaps I've been too occupied since medical school? Or have my hubby's ears sufficiently replaced the blank pages? Or have I been e-mailing all my thoughts to my unwitting friends? Well, lately, My mind and fingers are itching to write again. There are important differences between a journal and blog, of course. Being able to add pictures and other audio-visuals is really neat, and having anyone in anywhere as an audience is also new. Mostly, I'm doing this to chronicle my life for myself, but I welcome everyone to read it.
